6120 MONOLEC® Hydraulic Oil draulic 704 MONOLEC® Gear Lubricant Bryson Crane Rental Service, Daytona Beach, FL Cranes Hydraulic packing lasts four times longer Extended oil drain intervals Use 50% less make-up oil CUSTOMER PROFILE Bryson Crane Rental Service is a crane rental and specialty rigging service. They have been in business since 1964 and an LE customer since 1994. APPLICATION They have several different cranes consisting of; a TMS 300 LP Grove, TMS 180 Grove, two 40-ton T340 Terex, TMS 185 Grove, TMS 700B Grove, MCH 275 Koering, TMS 865 Grove, S888 Bantam, Alpha 100 P&H, MC790 Lorain, 5530 American and a AC395 Demag. AREA OF INTEREST While using commercial grade lubricants they were experiencing short oil drains, over heating and leakage around the seals and o-rings. They were looking to extend equipment life, extend oil drain intervals and stop seal and o-ring leakage. LE SOLUTION LE Representative Gary McLeod recommended LE's 6120 MONOLEC® Hydraulic Oil and 704 MONOLEC® Gear Lubricant. LE’s 6120 has anti-wear qualities, anti-foaming qualities, contains rust and oxidation inhibitors, and separates readily from water. It also contains MONOLEC, LE’s exclusive friction reducing additive. LE’s 704 MONOLEC® Gear Lubricant is a multi-viscosity extreme pressure oil. It exceeds requirements for many of differentials and transmissions in highway fleets and off-road equipment. CUSTOMER COST SAVINGS Since the conversion to LE Products the hydraulic packing, seals and o-rings last at least four times longer.  They have not had to replace or hone a swivel barrel, which is a major job.  They have extended oil drain intervals to over 1,000 hours.  They use 50% less make-up oil.  In the Road Ranger transmissions, they have not replaced synchronizers in rear gearboxes since changing to LE’s 704. The fleet used to average one replacement every three months.  Mike Bryson states, "LE puts money in your pocket."
